On my way to work

Cactus, structure

Cactus, context

This Christmas Card is a present to all my fellow readers. As it does not have strong relation to christmas, you may also use it as a “normal” Greeting Card. If you’re curious, there are still the two Adventskalender’s, I did for you the last two years: 20082009.

If you want to print the card,  you can use this version and print it on a thicker cardboard (around 170g/m^2) with a slightly yellow tint. I used this paper (search for DOZ4). If you’d rather want to enjoy it in its pure digital beauty, you may want to download this pdf which includes a built-in yellow background.

Macro shot. Nikon FE2 Dia-positive, (possibly 90mm Tamron Macro)

I took this photo back in the 1990s in Theenhausen, my home town for almost 20 years. It originally was a colored dia-positive. In these days, I started experimenting with a flash for my Nikon FE2 camera. Yesterday, I started to scan the old dias and found this to be great in b/w.
