(For non-helsinkinista’s: Restaurant day; crowd-organised event where everyone is allowed to open a restaurant for one day in Helsinki. Pretty awesome event.)
Cubaneinated Coffee bar in Antwerps. Excellent, freshly roasted coffee, the “main speaker” behind the bar roasts by himself. Asked for an espresso; got served one immediately, including a detailed description of the blend. Drinking, looking into the “menu”, got the next espresso immediately (without asking); this time another blend with a whole lot more arome but not that fine/grained details. Both excellent coffees (in roast and cupping), spreading up the taste possibilities of espresso. Wonderful. Both coffees were “slightly less roasted then it is usual in e.g. Holland”.
